The CM3 series moulded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) has a rated working voltage up to 690V, rated insulation voltage of 800V, rated impulse withstand voltage up to 8kV, and rated current from 10A to 630A. The CM3 series circuit breaker is suitable for power distribution and motor protection applications, as well as fire protection applications. It has an overload alarm without tripping function. When the line is overloaded, the circuit breaker installed with this function does not trip but only outputs an overload signal, ensuring continuity of power supply, meeting the requirement of GB50054 Clause 4.3.5: "For lines where sudden power failure causes greater losses than overload, the overload protection should act on a signal rather than cutting off the circuit." The circuit breaker is divided into four types according to the rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu): Type C (basic), Type L (standard), Type M (higher breaking), and Type H (high breaking). Its rated insulation voltage is 800V, suitable for AC 50Hz, rated working voltage up to 690V and below, and rated working current from 6A to 800A in circuits for overload, short-circuit, earth fault, and undervoltage protection of cables, transformers, engines, motors, etc., as well as for infrequent switching and infrequent starting of motors. It has two-stage non-selective and three-stage selective protection (above 225A). The circuit breaker has isolation function and complies with IEC60947-2 and GB14048.2 standards.
