Basic Composition
1. The test system consists of test power supply, power switch cabinet (optional), step-up transformer, switch outputs for various voltage levels, and various data measurement instruments.
2. Test Features
This test equipment features low motor current during testing and smooth speed increase, allowing power-on testing of motors with 1.5 to 4 times the existing capacity.
Operating Instructions
1. Before testing, first confirm the motor's rated voltage and capacity to select the same voltage output of the test equipment. Refer to the motor wiring. This test equipment has 6 voltage levels and 6 output ports. For example: if the test motor is 10KV, connect the 10KV power output to the motor, then switch the voltage level selector to the 10KV position. In the 0 position (neutral), all outputs are inactive.
Position 1: 380V output
Position 2: 660V output
Position 3: 1140V output
Position 4: 3KV output
Position 5: 6KV output
Position 6: 10KV output
When selecting a gear for output, only the output switch of the selected gear can be closed; all other gears cannot be closed.
Note: Do not use a voltage that does not match the motor's rated voltage for testing, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the motor and test equipment.
2. After selecting the output that matches the motor's rated voltage and connecting the wires, open the grounding switch. Supply the incoming power and close the selected voltage output switch.
Note: For the first test of the motor, personnel should not have close contact with the motor.
3. After the above preparations are complete, press the start button on the main control cabinet. The motor begins to rotate. Personnel should observe voltage, current, motor sound, etc. When the motor reaches rated speed, current drops, and the ammeter pointer stabilizes, press the run button to enter the full-voltage test state. Collect relevant data.
4. After the test is completed, first press the stop button, disconnect the main power, then disconnect the corresponding voltage level output switch, and return the voltage level selector to the 0 position for next use.
5. Disconnect wires: After the motor has completely stopped rotating, close the grounding switch of the corresponding voltage level output terminal, discharge before removing the motor wiring, and return the output cables to their original positions.
