The TD-1168 multi-functional high-altitude wiring clamp is a special fixture for temporary wiring when testing or repairing electrical equipment. For many years, when testing or repairing electrical equipment that cannot be directly contacted, operators had to climb up to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical problem, the technical personnel of Yangzhou Huateng Electric, together with the strong support and help of field workers in the power system, after years of research, exploration, and repeated field practice, finally successfully developed this special fixture suitable for field use - the TD-1168 multi-functional high-altitude wiring clamp.
All our products have passed inspection by the National Institute of Metrology, the Electric Power Research Institute, and related units; users who purchase products from our company can send the equipment to the local Electric Power Research Institute and related units for testing. If the test fails, a full refund will be given!
TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp Operating Instructions:
1. Adjust the clamp head of the wiring clamp to approximately the same angle as the wiring position (if the wiring position is perpendicular to the ground, you need to
replace it with the spare guide hook).
2. Install the voltage and current wires on the wiring terminals of the clamp jaws, install the wiring clamp on the special operating rod of the required length, and then fix the wires in sections (the section near the clamp must reserve a 20cm wire allowance) on the special operating rod.
3. Use the special operating rod to lift the wiring clamp so that the clamp head is slightly higher than the wiring position, then gently lean it against the wiring position. Rely on the guide hook on the wiring clamp to slowly slide down at the wiring position so that the jaws clamp onto the wiring position. Pull the operating rod in the direction of the lower jaw of the wiring clamp (do not use excessive force), and the clamp jaws will be tightened and automatically locked.
4. To remove the wiring clamp, simply push the special operating rod in the direction of the upper jaw of the wiring clamp, and the jaws will release.

TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp Precautions:
1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use.
2. Test current, when testing larger currents: connect the upper and lower jaws of the high-altitude clamp with a short wire so that both jaws contact simultaneously, increasing the current capacity. When testing smaller currents: at the wiring terminals of the upper and lower jaws of the high-altitude clamp, connect the current wire to the upper jaw and the voltage wire to the lower jaw, allowing one test to complete both current and voltage measurements.
