The td1168 electric power maintenance high-altitude test clamp is a specialized tool for temporary wiring during testing or maintenance of power equipment. It transfers traditional high-altitude work to the ground, reducing the labor intensity and danger for operators while improving work efficiency, making it an ideal specialized wiring tool for on-site wiring test personnel.
Main Features:
(1) Simple operation: Use a special operating rod to hook the clamp jaws onto the wiring position, and by pushing or pulling the rod, the jaws can freely open and close to complete the wiring work. The jaw opening is large (70mm) and equipped with a hooking guide mechanism for convenient operation.
(2) Strong clamping force: The upper and lower jaws utilize the principle of movable pulley to save effort, thus a small pulling force can achieve a large clamping force.
(3) The clamp has a built-in locking and release device for clamping force. When pulling the operating rod, the spring energy storage device inside the clamp can automatically lock the jaws at any desired clamping force. When pushing the operating rod, the release device opens the clamped jaws. Unless the operating rod is manually pushed, the self-locking device will never allow the clamped jaws to open by themselves, ensuring safety and reliability.
(4) Good contact: While clamping, it has the function of overcoming oxidation, ensuring good contact between the jaws and the wiring position.
(5) Strong overload capacity: Short-term current capacity exceeds 100A.
(6) High practicality: The jaw angle can be adjusted to complete grounding wiring work for test or maintenance at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8 meters. Lightweight and easy to use. Reasonable structural design, fine quality, durable, with the clamp head weighing less than 700 grams.

Usage Method:
It consists of two parts: the test clamp handle (the short section at the head) and the extended telescopic rod. Connect the test clamp handle to the telescopic rod by threading and tightening to make them integrated, then pull out each section of the telescopic rod, and according to the instructions and the spring-loaded head on the rod, insert it into the positioning hole for positioning. The operator can directly operate from the ground, lifting the installed high-altitude test clamp (including connected test wires, etc.) (length can be customized). Hook the upper jaw onto the object to be tested, pull the operating rod downward with force, and the jaws will automatically lock and grip the object. Conversely, push gently to release. This tool is convenient to use and reliable for testing.
