High-altitude Wire Clamp Manufacturer Dari Electric recommends |
Usage:
This product consists of a test clamp handle (the shorter section at the head) and extended insulating operating rods. Connect the test clamp handle with each section of the operating rod by threading and tightening them together to form an integrated unit. Connect each operating rod according to the instructions on the rod. The operator can directly operate from the ground, lifting the installed high-altitude test clamp (including connected test leads, etc.) (the length in meters can be customized). Hook the upper jaw onto the object under test, pull the operating rod downward with force, and the clamp will automatically lock, gripping the object for testing. Conversely, a gentle push will release the test clamp. This tool is easy to use and provides accurate testing.
Main Technical Parameters:
3.1 Appearance of TD-1168 high-altitude wire clamp.
3.2 Main technical parameters
Operating rod voltage level: 500kV
Instantaneous current: ≥200A
Operating rod self-weight: 3.6kg/set (each set includes 5 rods)
Clamp head weight: 0.9kg/piece
Standard configuration: 2 sets per box (each set includes 5 rods, total length 7.5 meters)
Operating Instructions:
4.1 Adjust the clamp head of the wire clamp to an angle roughly the same as the wiring position (if the wiring position is perpendicular to the ground, replace it with the spare guide hook).
4.2 Install the voltage and current wires on the wiring terminals of the clamp jaw, install the wire clamp on the dedicated operating rod of the required length, and then fix the wires in sections (leave a 20cm wire allowance on the section closest to the wire clamp) onto the dedicated operating rod.
4.4 Use the dedicated operating rod to lift the wire clamp so that the clamp head is slightly higher than the wiring position, then gently rest it against the wiring position. Rely on the guide hook on the wire clamp to slowly slide down along the wiring position so that the jaw engages the wiring position. Pull the operating rod in the direction of the lower jaw of the wire clamp (do not use excessive force), and the clamp jaw will be tightened and automatically locked.
4.4 To remove the wire clamp, simply push the dedicated operating rod in the direction of the upper jaw of the wire clamp, and the jaw will release.
The multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp is a special fixture for temporary wiring during testing or maintenance of electrical equipment. For years, when testing or repairing electrical equipment that cannot be directly accessed, operators had to climb up to connect wires, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical challenge, our factory's technical personnel, with the strong support and help of field workers in the power system, after years of research, exploration, and repeated field practice, have successfully developed this special fixture suitable for field use — the JXQ-type multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp.
The advent of the multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp has shifted traditional high-altitude work to the ground, fundamentally eliminating the danger of climbing, and greatly improving the working conditions for field operators. It can be used for test wiring of loop resistance, DC resistance, dielectric, insulation withstand voltage, etc., for equipment heights up to 8.5 meters, eliminating the need for climbing.
