I. Overview:
TD-1168 Multifunctional High-altitude Wiring Clamp is a special fixture for temporary wiring when testing or repairing electrical equipment.
II. Detailed Description:
The TD-1168 Multifunctional High-altitude Wiring Clamp is a special fixture for temporary wiring when testing or repairing electrical equipment. For years, when testing or repairing electrical equipment that cannot be directly accessed, operators had to climb up to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical problem, the technical staff of Baoding Woda Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., with the strong support and help of field workers in the power system, after years of research, exploration, and repeated field experiments, finally successfully developed this special fixture suitable for field use - the Multifunctional High-altitude Wiring Clamp.
The advent of the TD-1168 Multifunctional High-altitude Wiring Clamp has transferred traditional high-altitude operations to the ground, fundamentally eliminating the danger of climbing, and greatly improving the working conditions of field operators. This product has been awarded the Utility Model Certificate issued by the State Intellectual Property Office.
I. Main Features:
1. Simple operation. Use the special operating rod to hook the upper jaw of the wiring clamp onto the wiring position, and by pushing and pulling the special operating rod, the jaw can be freely opened and closed to complete the wiring work. The opening size of the wiring clamp is large (70mm), and it is equipped with a guiding mechanism for easy hooking.
2. Strong clamping force. The upper and lower jaws of the wiring clamp utilize the principle of movable pulley to save effort, so a small pulling force can produce a large clamping force.
3. The wiring clamp is internally equipped with a clamping force locking and releasing device. When pulling the special operating rod, the
spring energy storage device inside the clamp can automatically lock the jaw at any required force. If the special operating rod is not pushed, the self-locking device will never open by itself, ensuring reliable performance. When pushing the special operating rod, the
release device inside the clamp can open the clamped jaw, making operation very convenient.
4. Good contact. The wiring clamp has the function of overcoming the oxide film while clamping, ensuring good contact between the jaw and the wiring position.
5. Large short-time current capacity and strong overload capability.
6. Strong practicality. The angle of the clamp head can be adjusted to complete wiring work at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8 meters for testing or repair grounding.
7. Lightweight and easy to use. The structure is reasonably designed, with fine quality and durability; the clamp head weighs less than 700 grams.
II. Usage Instructions:
1. Install the wiring clamp onto the special operating rod of the required length, connect the voltage and current wires to the wiring terminals on the clamp jaw, and then secure the wires in sections (leaving a 20cm allowance on the section near the clamp) onto the special operating rod.
2. Adjust the clamp head to roughly the same angle as the wiring position (if the wiring position is perpendicular to the ground, replace it with the spare guiding hook).
3. Use the special operating rod to lift the wiring clamp so that the clamp head is slightly higher than the wiring position, then gently lean it against the wiring position. Slowly slide it downward using the guiding mechanism on the clamp until the jaw catches the wiring position, then slowly apply force (avoid excessive force) to pull the special operating rod, and the jaw will clamp tightly.
4. To remove the wiring clamp, simply push the special operating rod firmly toward the clamp, and the jaw will open.
III. Usage Precautions:
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use.
2. Maintain a safe distance from live equipment during use!
When using the wiring clamp, wires are connected. When lifting or lowering it, maintain a safe distance from surrounding live equipment; special attention to safety is required!
3. If the jaw clamps onto a screw, the clamping force is insufficient, or the connecting wires have poor contact, the test results may be affected.
4. When removing after use, handle with care and place it gently.
5. Do not artificially push the lower jaw upward, bend, or squeeze the internal steel wire rope.
6. Apply lubricating oil to sliding parts and avoid dust ingress.
7. Store in a clean, dry place after use.
