Silicon carbide far infrared electric heater is a radiant heater that generates strong broad-spectrum directional radiation in the vertical space after being powered on. It effectively converts point energy into far infrared radiant energy, directly transfers it to the object to be dried, rapidly transforms it into molecular thermal motion, dries from the inside out, achieves the purpose of rapid drying and shaping, and achieves significant energy-saving effects.
Far infrared electric heating plate uses a silicon carbide plate coated with metal oxide, i.e., far infrared coating, as the radiation element. The heating wire is installed in the element holes (or grooves), and a thick layer of insulation, refractory, and heat insulation material is placed at the bottom of the element. Then a metal shell is installed, and the wiring terminals are installed for power-on use. Silicon carbide has a room temperature flexural strength of 45 MPa, a high temperature flexural strength of 50 MPa at 1000°C, a bulk density of 2.7-2.75 g/cm³, and a thermal expansion rate of 0 at 900°C.
