SRQ Air Heater
This is a collector that makes the absorber plate corrugated. Its advantage is not only directional selectivity, but also the absorptivity of solar radiation is greater than the emissivity. This is because the direct solar radiation entering the V-groove must undergo multiple reflections before leaving the V-groove, while thermal radiation is hemispherical. Reference (3) points out that if a corrugated absorber plate with a spectrally selective absorbing surface is used, the selective radiation characteristics will be further improved. In addition, since the air channel formed by the absorber plate and the bottom plate is inverted V-shaped, the heat transfer coefficient between the air flow and the absorber plate can also be increased.
4. Laminated glass type collector
In this type of collector, the absorber plate is composed of a set of laminated glass between the transparent cover plate and the bottom plate, and the tail of each layer of glass along the airflow direction is coated with black paint. When the air flows through the channels between the laminated glass, it will be heated by the tail of each layer of glass coated with black paint.
