Recently, Jiangsu Tongguang Group Co., Ltd. successfully developed China's first energy-saving conductor - low-creep steel core soft aluminum stranded wire.
The energy-saving conductors developed by Tongguang Group include: low-creep steel core soft aluminum stranded wire, energy-saving capacity-increasing conductor, and energy-saving capacity-expanding conductor. Among them, the low-creep steel core soft aluminum stranded wire is the first variety they developed and released. For a long time, the transmission of electrical energy mainly used the traditional LGJ series steel core hard aluminum stranded wire (ACSR), whose disadvantages are low continuous operating temperature, small current-carrying capacity, and relatively large line loss. The two major problems of capacity expansion and loss reduction urgently need to be solved. The low-creep steel core soft aluminum stranded wire developed by Tongguang Group is different from the general steel core soft aluminum stranded wire (ACSS) in Europe and America. When in use, the low-creep steel core soft aluminum stranded wire can transmit more electrical energy more safely and reliably. Compared with conventional steel core soft aluminum stranded wire of the same specification, when transmitting the same capacity of electrical energy, it can reduce line loss by about 3% and increase capacity by 50% to 100%.
