Analyzing the operation process of the test transformer operation box/console:
1. Verify the test transformer, measure the rated output voltage of the winding to ensure it matches the operation box/console.
2. Connect the test transformer and the operation box/console according to the wiring schematic diagram.
3. Connect the power supply, the power indicator light will illuminate, and preset the time relay to the required time. (Only KZX-50 and KZX-100 have this function). At this time, the voltage regulator should be returned to zero.
4. Rotate the handwheel clockwise (for KZX-50 and KZX-100, electric voltage boosting is available; you can press the boost button), and increase the voltage uniformly at 2KV per step to the required value.
5. Start the time relay, and it will begin timing (only KZX-50 and KZX-100 have the automatic voltage reduction function).
6. After the test is completed, rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to zero (KZX-50 and KZX-100 have this function). Press the stop button, cut off the power supply, and disconnect the wiring.
7. During the test, if any abnormal sound, smoke, or peculiar smell is found, stop boosting immediately, quickly reduce the voltage to zero, and only after checking that everything is correct can you continue boosting.
8. It is strictly forbidden to cut off the power supply during normal operation.
9. If the carbon brush of the voltage regulator is found to be excessively worn, replace it with a brush of the same specification in a timely manner.
10. If the equipment has not been used for a long time, before reusing it, you must use a megohmmeter to measure insulation, and only continue to use it if the resistance value is not lower than 0.5M.
11. When using this product for high-voltage tests, in addition to being familiar with this manual, you must also be familiar with the following regulations: "Regulations for Preventive Tests of Electrical Equipment"
