High-Current Generator (also known as a current booster), a testing device independently developed by our company, integrates the advantages of similar products both domestically and internationally. (1) After wiring, check again to see if there are any wiring errors and whether the connectors are in good contact.
(2) During the test, if there is arcing, or no display at startup, or other abnormal phenomena, turn off the power immediately and recheck the wiring.
(3) In actual wiring, the current output terminals should form a closed loop; otherwise, the instrument will not output current.
(4) This current booster comes with random output wires; the external copper wire should be selected according to 10A/mm2. (Standard configuration: two 3-meter test leads)
(5) The equipment capacity is designed for short-time operation of 5 minutes. If used for batch testing, the working time should be less than 2.5 minutes, and wait for 10 minutes before the next operation. If doing temperature rise tests (3

3. Working principle
The high-current generator uses a self-coupled voltage regulator to adjust the voltage, which is then boosted by a step-down transformer to generate a large current at low voltage. The primary side of the transformer is connected to the power supply, and the secondary side is connected to the load. By adjusting the output voltage of the voltage regulator, the output current can be continuously adjusted. The instrument is equipped with a digital ammeter to display the output current value in real time.
4. Usage steps
(1) Connect the power cord and the load according to the wiring diagram.
(2) Turn on the power switch, and the digital ammeter will light up.
(3) Slowly adjust the voltage regulator knob to increase the output current to the desired value.
(4) After the test, turn the voltage regulator knob back to zero, then turn off the power switch.
5. Precautions
(1) The equipment must be properly grounded before use.
(2) Do not touch the output terminals during operation to avoid electric shock.
(3) The equipment should be kept away from moisture and corrosive gases.
(4) If any abnormal conditions are found, stop using it immediately and contact the manufacturer.
6. Maintenance
(1) Keep the equipment clean and dry.
(2) Regularly check the wiring and connectors for looseness.
(3) If the equipment is not used for a long time, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated place.
