A vacuum toilet creates a vacuum in the entire system. Each toilet must have an isolation valve to isolate it from the system. A regular toilet uses 6 liters of water per flush, while a vacuum toilet only uses 0.6 liters. It can also separate solid and liquid waste. Solid waste goes directly to fertilizer plants to be made into organic fertilizer, while liquid waste, along with bath water and vegetable washing water, is collected into the pipe network and flows into a "small artificial wetland" at the doorstep. After nitrogen, phosphorus, and other nutrients in the water are absorbed by plants in the artificial wetland, the output is Class II water suitable for landscaping.

The blowdown valve evolved from a gate valve. It uses gear rotation of 90 degrees to lift the valve stem, achieving opening and closing. It requires low torque, is easy to operate, and allows quick opening and closing. The quick blowdown valve not only has a simple structure and good sealing, but also is small in size, light in weight, consumes less material, and has small installation dimensions. Especially for driving, the blowdown valve with PN ≤ 2.0MPa is used for periodic blowdown of high-pressure boilers. It can blow down through five channels simultaneously or through one channel.
