  Using imported grounding rods as temporary grounding wires is an essential safety tool for electrical work. It is portable and can be flexibly used on site, so it is also called portable grounding wire. Hanging the grounding wire is a safety barrier to protect maintenance personnel, preventing injury from sudden electric shock. However, in actual work, due to frequent use and seemingly simple operation, it is easy to cause麻痹思想 (complacency), and its importance is often overlooked, leading to incorrect usage that reduces or even sometimes loses the safety protection effect of the grounding wire. (3) Connect to crossarm: equipped with 16² soft copper grounding wire 3*1.5m + 1.5m, with clamps or grounding rod

(4) Grounding: equipped with 16² soft copper grounding wire 3*1.5m + 1.5m, with clamps or grounding rod



3. Usage and maintenance:

Before using the personal safety wire, first verify that the power is off and confirm no voltage on the equipment. Then connect the grounding clamp to the grounding grid or flat iron, and use the grounding operating rod to tighten the wire-end clamps onto the equipment conductors. When removing the short-circuit grounding wire, the sequence is exactly the reverse. The distance between the installed short-circuit grounding wire and live equipment, considering the swing of the grounding wire, should not be less than the value specified in the new "Safety Work Regulations for Electric Power". It is strictly forbidden to use winding methods instead of clamps for grounding short-circuit. The portable short-circuit grounding wire should be properly stored. Before each use, carefully check whether it is intact, the soft copper wire is not exposed, and the nuts are not loose; otherwise, do not use it. The inspection cycle for portable short-circuit grounding wires is once every five years, with the same inspection items as factory inspection. After a short-circuit, the tested portable short-circuit grounding wire should be judged based on the magnitude of the short-circuit current and visual inspection; generally, it should be scrapped.
