Hand-held Short-circuit Grounding Wire |
Overview:
1. Purpose of short-circuit grounding wire:
The hand-held short-circuit grounding wire is used in line and substation construction to ensure safety against electric shock caused by electrostatic induction from nearby live parts or accidental closing of switches.
2. Overview of hand-held short-circuit grounding wire:
The hand-held short-circuit grounding wire consists of an insulating operating rod and a wire clamp. The wire clamp is made of high-quality aluminum alloy die-casting, with high strength, and after surface treatment, the clamp surface is not prone to oxidation. The operating rod is made of imported epoxy resin into a colored tube, with good insulation performance, high strength, light weight, bright colors, and smooth appearance.
Classification of hand-held short-circuit grounding wire:
1. Flat-mouth spiral grounding rod (indoor busbar, substation busbar)
2. Round-mouth spiral grounding rod (indoor lines, substation lines)
3. Double-spring compression grounding rod (indoor lines, substation lines)
4. Hand-held grounding rod (indoor busbar, substation busbar)
Technical Requirements:
1. The construction grounding wire consists of a grounding end, a grounding conductor, and a spring-loaded clamp plate. The outer sheath of the grounding wire has an insulating layer. When it contacts the conductor, the spring inside the clamp plate automatically clamps the conductor. See the figure for the actual product.
2. The cross-section of the construction grounding wire should be selected according to the application.
3. For the hand-held short-circuit grounding wire, first fasten one end of the construction grounding wire to the grounding body with bolts, open the clamp plate of the clamp body, and support the spring plate. The operator holds the grounding wire by hand and aligns the clamp body with the conductor or overhead ground wire to be grounded. Upon contact, the clamp body clamps the conductor or ground wire.
4. When removing, first detach the clamp plate, then loosen the grounding bolt.
5. In areas with high induced voltage, construction personnel should also wear anti-static clothing.
6. A grounding warning sign must be hung at the grounding point.
