Working Principle of GD Series High-Voltage Audible and Visual Voltage Detector—Technical Specifications:

1. The operating ambient temperature is -25℃ to 55℃; relative humidity is 20% to 96%, suitable for indoor and outdoor use in good weather conditions.

2. The indicator is powered by four A357 (AG13) button batteries, with a static current of ≤10uA and a testing life of ≥5000 operations.

3. Audible and visual signal indication intensity: alarm sound indication intensity (70db at 1m, audible at 25m), ultra-high brightness red flash indication intensity (red flash, visible under direct light at 15m).

4. The voltage detector is always in standby mode. When the battery voltage drops insufficiently, the audible and visual signals of the indicator become weak, and the batteries should be replaced. The delay time (i.e., response time) between the moment the voltage detector contacts a live part and the clear indication of the indicator is ≤1 second, with a return coefficient of ≥0.95.

5. The voltage detector has high anti-interference performance, anti-short-circuit capability, anti-spark property, and the ability to distinguish DC high voltage (no response to DC, only a brief sound upon contact).

6. Self-test function: The voltage detector is in continuous monitoring state. As long as the self-test button is pressed, if the audible and visual signals are normal, it has full-circuit self-test capability, proving that the voltage detector indicator is in normal monitoring state and ready for voltage testing operations.

Working Principle of GD Series High-Voltage Audible and Visual Voltage Detector—Usage and Maintenance:

1. Before use, a self-test must be performed by pressing the self-test button with a finger. The indicator light should flash intermittently and emit an intermittent alarm sound, indicating that the instrument is normal.

2. When performing voltage testing above 10KV, the "Safety Work Regulations for Electric Power Industry" must be followed. Workers must wear insulating gloves and insulating shoes and ensure a safe distance from live equipment.

3. When using, the worker should hold the lowest part of the insulating rod to ensure the effective length of the rod. According to the "Safety Work Regulations for Electric Power Industry", the voltage detector should first be tested on a live facility to verify its performance before use.

4. The voltage detector should undergo regular insulation withstand voltage tests and startup tests. In humid places, every three months; in dry places, every six months. If the product is found unreliable, it should be taken out of service.

5. Do not use in rainy or foggy weather.

6. The voltage detector should be stored in a dry, ventilated place free of corrosive gases.
