High-altitude Wire Clamp TD-1168 Price
Darui Electric recommends
Overview:
A special clamp used for temporary wiring during testing or maintenance of electrical equipment. For years, when testing or maintaining electrical equipment that cannot be directly contacted, operators had to climb to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical challenge, our engineering and technical personnel, with the strong support and assistance of field workers in the power system, conducted research, exploration, and repeated experiments
Precautions:
1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use.
2. For testing current, when testing larger currents: connect the upper and lower jaws of the high-altitude clamp with a short wire so that both jaws contact simultaneously, increasing the current capacity. When testing smaller currents: at the wiring points of the upper and lower jaws, connect the current wire to the upper jaw and the voltage wire to the lower jaw, allowing simultaneous measurement of current and voltage in one test.
3. During use, maintain a safe distance from live equipment.
4. If the jaws clamp onto a screw, the clamping force is insufficient, or the connecting wire has poor contact, the test results may be affected.
5. Do not push the lower jaw of the clamp upward directly with your hand to avoid bending or squeezing the internal steel wire rope.
6. Lubricate the sliding parts and avoid dust ingress.
7. After use, store in a clean, dry place.
Main Features:
(1) Simple operation: use the special operating rod to hook the clamp jaws onto the wiring position, and by pushing or pulling the rod, the jaws can open and close freely to complete the wiring. The jaw opening is large (70mm) and equipped with a guiding mechanism for easy hooking, making operation very convenient.
(2) Strong clamping force: the upper and lower jaws utilize the principle of a movable pulley to save effort, so a small pulling force can generate a large clamping force.
(3) The clamp has a built-in locking and release mechanism for the clamping force. When pulling the special operating rod, the internal spring energy storage device can automatically lock the jaws at any desired clamping force. When pushing the rod, the release mechanism opens the clamped jaws. Unless the rod is manually pushed, the self-locking mechanism will never allow the clamped jaws to open on their own, ensuring safety and reliability.
(4) Good contact: the clamp has the function of overcoming oxide films while clamping, ensuring good contact between the jaws and the wiring position.
(5) Strong overload capacity: short-time current greater than 100A.
(6) High practicality: the jaw angle can be adjusted to complete wiring for testing or maintenance at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8.5 meters.
(7) Lightweight and easy to use: reasonable structural design, fine quality, durable, with the clamp head weighing less than 700 grams.
