IV. Usage Methods and Precautions:
1, The instrument must be properly grounded.
2, Connect the power supply, turn on the switch, the red indicator light is on, then the current generator waits for current rise.
3, Rotate the voltage regulator evenly clockwise, pay attention to the output current indicator on the operation panel until the required high current is reached.
4, During the test, once any abnormal phenomenon is found, cut off the power immediately, find out the cause, and then conduct the test again.
5, After the test, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero, cut off the power with the air switch, cut off the working power, and remove the test wiring in the reverse direction to ensure safety.
V. Precautions:
1, When newly installed or not used for a long time, before operation, use a 1500 megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between coils and to ground. Only when the resistance value is not lower than 0.5 megohms can it be used.
2, During use, the main unit and operation panel of the high current generator must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
3, When in use, the current should be increased slowly and evenly, and avoid excessive vibration during handling.
4, The contact surface between the voltage regulator and the brush should be kept clean. If necessary, wipe it clean with cotton yarn dipped in 90% alcohol.
5, This equipment should be stored in a clean, ventilated, dry indoor place.
