Three-Phase AC Phase Sequence Meter

1. Product Overview

Three-Phase AC Phase Sequence Meter is designed and manufactured based on the secondary safety standard of Safety Requirements for Electronic Measuring Instruments

(LEC - 348). It is portable, quick and accurate in testing, and highly safe. It is used to detect the status of open phases and the sequence of phases. The phase sequence is indicated by light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and a buzzer.

2. Precautions

1. Three-Phase AC Phase Sequence Meter is a high-voltage testing device. Before use, check whether the instrument is intact. If any of the following conditions occur, stop using it immediately and perform corresponding inspection and repair to avoid electric shock and accidents.

A: The appearance of the instrument is obviously damaged (e.g., cracks or damage on the housing, broken insulation on test leads, etc.);

B: The instrument has been severely squeezed during transportation;

C: The instrument has been left idle for a long time under improper conditions (e.g., in a bathroom or a damp place).

2. Never open the housing of the instrument during measurement to avoid electric shock and accidents.

3. During measurement, high voltage is applied through the test leads. Do not directly touch exposed wire ends or the metal parts of test probes to avoid electric shock.

4. Even if all phase indicator LEDs are not lit, a voltage circuit may still exist. Be careful to prevent electric shock.

5. Do not measure circuit voltages higher than 600V to avoid accidents.

6. When measuring 200V ACV, continuous use should not exceed 60 minutes; when measuring 600V ACV, continuous use should not exceed 4 minutes.

7. Do not use the instrument outdoors in rain or in damp environments to avoid accidents.

8. Do not let the instrument come into contact with water or corrosive liquids, and do not place it in direct sunlight, high temperature, or humid environments to avoid affecting its testing performance.

9. Non-professionals are prohibited from opening the housing of the instrument to avoid affecting its testing performance.

10. Operators using this instrument should be specially trained, have relevant knowledge of strong current operation and measurement, and strictly follow this manual for measurement operations.

11. Keep this manual in an easily accessible place for future reference.
