1. Product Use:
It is a special fixture for temporary wiring when testing or repairing electrical equipment.
For many years, when testing or repairing electrical equipment that cannot be directly contacted, operators had to climb high to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. The high-altitude test clamp is mainly used for substation maintenance in the power system, conducting high-altitude power-on tests on electrical equipment such as contact resistance, loop resistance, relay protection CT tests, etc. It is especially suitable for detecting and wiring high-altitude equipment from the ground. It can choose any clampable position for testing and can adapt to wiring needs at different angles.
The advent of the high-altitude test clamp has transferred traditional high-altitude operations to the ground, fundamentally solving the dangers of climbing, and greatly improving the working conditions of on-site operators.

2.2.1 Simple Operation: TD1168 Telescopic Clamp 110KV Multi-functional High-altitude Test Clamp for Power Maintenance makes traditional high-altitude operations ground-based. By pushing and pulling the special operating rod, the clamp mouth can freely open and close to complete wiring work.
2.2.2 Safe and Reliable: The wiring clamp is internally equipped with a clamping force locking and release device. When pulling the special rod, the spring energy storage device inside the clamp can automatically lock the clamp mouth at any required clamping force. It will not loosen or open by itself under non-operating conditions.
2.2.3 High Clamping Force: It can easily break the oxide film at the test point. The moving and fixed clamp mouths use the principle of movable pulleys to save effort, using a smaller pulling force to obtain a larger clamping force.
2.2.4 Strong Overload Capacity: Short-term current carrying capacity is greater than 200A.
2.2.5 Good Contact: The wiring clamp has the function of overcoming the oxide film while clamping, ensuring good contact between the clamp mouth and the wiring position.
2.2.6 Strong Practicality: The clamp mouth angle can be changed, allowing wiring work for tests or maintenance grounding such as loop resistance, DC resistance, dielectric loss, insulation withstand voltage, etc., at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8.5 meters.
