Electric Heat Tracing Pipe Overview

    ● Stainless Steel Electric Heat Tracing Pipe

    The stainless steel sheathed series heating cables can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and high heating power (up to 300W/m). The maximum withstand temperature of the electric heat tracing pipe can reach 800°C, and the conductor resistance range is from 28000 to 19.2Ω/km. The electric heat tracing pipe has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

    ● Copper Sheathed Electric Heat Tracing Pipe

    The copper sheathed series heating cables can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heat tracing. The maximum withstand temperature of the copper sheathed electric heat tracing pipe can reach 250°C, and the conductor resistance range is from 480 to 0.5Ω/km. For applications requiring corrosion protection or buried installation, the electric heat tracing pipe has excellent mechanical strength.

    ● 825 Alloy Sheathed Electric Heat Tracing Pipe

    The copper-nickel alloy sheathed electric heat tracing pipe can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heat tracing. The maximum withstand temperature of the copper-nickel alloy sheathed electric heat tracing pipe can reach 400°C, and the conductor resistance range is from 28000 to 19.4Ω/km. The electric heat tracing pipe has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

III. Electric Heat Tracing Pipe Applications     Electric heat tracing pipes are widely used in chemical pipelines (such as benzene, styrene, propylene glycol, phthalaldehyde), crude oil pipelines, wax, asphalt, heavy oil, residue, coking, distillation pipelines, reactor preheating, LNG pipelines and storage tanks, CNG pipelines and storage tanks, plateau railway tunnel drainage ditch anti-icing, power plant steam turbine pressure pipes, sulfuric acid pickling heating pipes, acidic gas environment pipelines, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and other industries.

Electric Heat Tracing Pipe Standards     For electric heat tracing pipes with a maximum temperature below 250°C, the heating cables comply with IEC800 (92) standard, "Heating cables for household facilities heating and anti-icing with rated voltage 300/500V". For electric heat tracing pipes exceeding 252°C, the enterprise standard applies.
