TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp is a special fixture for temporary wiring during testing or maintenance of electrical equipment.
For years, when testing or maintaining electrical equipment that cannot be directly contacted, operators had to climb high to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical problem, our engineering and technical personnel, with the strong support and assistance of field workers in the power system, successfully developed the TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp specially suitable for field use through research, exploration, and repeated experiments.
TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp is mainly used for substation maintenance in power systems, for high-altitude live-line testing of electrical equipment such as contact resistance, loop resistance, relay protection CT tests, etc. It is especially suitable for testing and wiring high-altitude equipment from the ground. It can select any clampable position for testing and can adapt to wiring needs at different angles.
The advent of TD-1168 High-altitude Wiring Clamp has transferred traditional high-altitude work to the ground, fundamentally eliminating the dangers of climbing, and greatly improving the working conditions of field operators.
2. Product Features
2.2.1 Simple operation: It converts traditional high-altitude work to ground level. By pushing and pulling the special operating rod, the clamp jaws can be freely opened and closed to complete wiring work.
2.2.2 Safe and reliable: The wiring clamp is internally equipped with a clamping force locking and release device. When pulling the special rod, the spring energy storage device inside the clamp can automatically lock the jaws at any required clamping force, and they will not loosen or open by themselves under non-operating conditions.
2.2.3 High clamping force: It can easily break the oxide film at the test point. Using the principle of movable pulley to save effort between the movable and fixed jaws, a smaller pulling force can produce a larger clamping force;
2.2.4 Strong overload capacity: Short-time current carrying capacity is greater than 200A.
2.2.5 Good contact: The wiring clamp has the function of overcoming the oxide film while clamping, ensuring good contact between the jaws and the wiring position.
2.2.6 Strong practicality: The jaw angle of the wiring clamp can be changed, enabling wiring work for loop resistance, DC resistance, dielectric loss, insulation withstand voltage, and other tests or maintenance grounding at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8.5 meters.
2.2.7 Light weight and easy to use. The structure is reasonably designed, with excellent quality and durability; the clamp head weighs less than 1kg.
