Heating tube, also known as tubular heater, is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy. It usually consists of a metal tube (such as stainless steel tube), an internal resistance wire (such as nickel-chromium alloy), and an insulating material (such as magnesium oxide powder) filled between the resistance wire and the metal tube. The design of the heating tube enables it to efficiently transfer heat to the surrounding medium, such as liquid or air.
