Operation methods for dry-type test transformer:
1. Connect the power supply to the operation box (console), and the power indicator light will turn on.
2. Press the start button, and the running indicator light will turn on (otherwise, if the voltage regulator is not at zero position, turn the handwheel of the voltage regulator counterclockwise to zero position), indicating that the test can be carried out.
3. Turn the handwheel of the voltage regulator clockwise to adjust the speed to 2KV/S for optimal performance, and watch the high-voltage meter until it reaches the required voltage value. If the test object breaks down and short-circuits causing overcurrent during the voltage increase, the overcurrent relay will act and automatically cut off the power supply.
4. If the test requires overcurrent control, adjust the overcurrent relay to the required power current value before operation. During work, the current relay will provide overcurrent protection according to the test requirements.
5. While monitoring the high-voltage meter, an external 0.5-level voltmeter can be connected at the instrument end for monitoring.
