Notice on Promoting "Quality Trustworthy Products" for Low-Voltage Complete Switchgear Equipment, Box-Type Substations, and Auxiliary Products
Quality is the life of an enterprise, the internal driving force and reliable guarantee for its sustainable and long-term development. The quality of products reflects a company's market reputation and overall strength. In the context of global economic integration, the focus of market competition is quality and brand. In order to enhance the market competitiveness of the electrical industry, improve product quality, strengthen brand awareness, and promote the cultivation of Chinese famous brands, the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association will implement a "brand strategy," with brand cultivation as the core, strengthen industry self-discipline measures, carry out the promotion of "quality trustworthy products," and through the supervision and management of "quality trustworthy products," improve the credit management level of enterprises and the industry.
In order to rectify the market order of low-voltage complete switchgear equipment and achieve industry self-discipline, since 2008, the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association has carried out the "quality trustworthy products" promotion and evaluation work for domestic brands such as GCK, GCS, GGD and other low-voltage complete switchgear equipment and box-type substation products across the industry. The branch has successively conducted nine batches of evaluation activities and held award ceremonies at member meetings. The quality trustworthy product certificates have played a positive role in credit system evaluation, major project bidding, promotion of famous brand products and well-known trademarks, and other activities.
In response to the urgent requirements of member units, in 2017, the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association will once again conduct the "quality trustworthy products" promotion and evaluation work for various types of low-voltage complete switchgear equipment such as GCK, GGL, GCS, GGD, MNS, box-type substations, and special auxiliary products supporting the above products. For products that originally held "quality trustworthy product" certificates, if the certificates and bronze plaques have expired, they need to participate in the re-evaluation for certificate renewal.
In order to do a good job in this "quality trustworthy products" promotion work and strictly follow the relevant evaluation procedures and requirements, the branch will set up an expert group to conduct the evaluation according to the "Evaluation Measures and Requirements for Quality Trustworthy Products" (No.: DPF/BF17-003) of the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. The relevant application requirements are hereby notified as follows:
1. Any enterprise that meets the application conditions can apply on a voluntary basis;
2. The conditions for participating enterprises, requirements for application materials, review procedures, certificates, supervision and protection, and charging standards are specified in the attachment: "Evaluation Measures and Requirements for Quality Trustworthy Products" (No.: DPF/BF17-003) of the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association;
3. All participating enterprises should send the relevant materials to the Secretariat of the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch before June 30, 2017, according to the specific requirements, and also send electronic versions to the email address, and remit the evaluation fee (2000 yuan per product, 1000 yuan per product for renewal re-evaluation) to the Secretariat of the Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch before June 30, 2017;
4. The Electric Control and Distribution Equipment Branch will conduct the evaluation according to the relevant procedures, and plans to announce the evaluation results at the 2017 annual meeting of the electric control and distribution industry, and hold the awarding ceremony for "quality trustworthy products."
