Immersion Electric Heating Coil Instructions

1. The working voltage must not exceed 1.1 times its rated value. The shell should be effectively grounded.

2. Working environment: humidity not greater than 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases.

3. Dimension “C” in the figure must be fully immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.

4. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage until melted, then increase to rated voltage.

5. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be completely removed before reuse to avoid reduced efficiency or even burning.

6. Keep the outlet end dry and clean to avoid surface flashover or short circuit.

7. The element should be stored in a dry and ventilated place. If the insulation resistance to ground drops below 1MΩ after long-term storage, it can be restored by drying in an oven at about 200°C for several hours.

   8. For JGY2 and JGY4 types, the mounting hole is φ66mm; for JGY3 type, the fastener is M18*1.5, length 25mm.

Note: When selecting, consider the actual conditions of the heating medium and the installation dimensions of the equipment. The surface heating power should be ≤0.7W per square centimeter if possible. When wiring, use appropriate high-temperature wires to connect the distribution control box to the electric heating coil.
