TAG6000 Wireless High Voltage Phase Detector This instrument eliminates the wires connecting the two ends of the open circuit point, making it safer and simpler to use than voltmeters or pointer-type phase detectors. The usage range can be extended to nearly 10 meters.
The TAG6000 consists of two parts. One is a combined unit of voltage detector and transmitter, and the other is a receiver. In use, first apply the TAG6000 transmitter to all lines, and the device contacts the lines, confirming they are live by emitting a buzzing sound and flashing light. Then place the transmitter at one end of the open circuit point, and place the receiver sequentially on each conductor at the other end of the open circuit point until finding the line that is in phase with the conductor where the transmitter is located. At this time, the receiver emits an audible and visible signal (a steady sound and red LED illumination), indicating that the two conductors are in phase.
Voltage design range: 10kV, 35kV, 110kV, 220kV Power supply: 9V DC alkaline batteries in both transmitter and receiver. Dimensions: 39cm×26cm×12cm Weight:
2.4kg Probes: Hook probe (for transmitter) 10cm×6cm Y-type probe (for receiver) 5cm×5cm
