The TD1168 high-altitude test clamp for power maintenance is a specialized tool for temporary wiring during testing or maintenance of power equipment. Main Features:
(1) Simple operation: Use the dedicated operating rod to hook the clamp jaws onto the wiring position, and by pushing or pulling the rod, the jaws can freely open and close to complete the wiring. The jaw opening is large (70mm) and equipped with a guiding mechanism for easy hooking, making operation very convenient.
(2) Strong clamping force: The upper and lower jaws utilize the principle of movable pulleys to save effort, thus a small pulling force can generate a large clamping force.
(3) The clamp has a built-in locking and release device for clamping force. When pulling the operating rod, the internal spring energy storage device can automatically lock the jaws at any desired clamping force. When pushing the rod, the release device opens the clamped jaws. Unless the rod is manually pushed, the self-locking mechanism ensures the jaws will never open on their own, ensuring safety and reliability.
(4) Good contact: While clamping, it also overcomes oxidation, ensuring good contact between the jaws and the wiring position.
(5) Strong overload capacity: Short-term current capacity exceeds 100A.

Usage Method:
It consists of two parts: the test clamp handle (the short section at the head) and the extended telescopic rod. Connect the test clamp handle to the telescopic rod by threading and tightening them together as one unit, then pull out each section of the telescopic rod, and position it according to the instructions on the rod and the spring-loaded head into the positioning hole. The operator works directly on the ground, lifting the assembled high-altitude test clamp (including connected test wires, etc.) (length can be customized). Hook the upper jaw onto the object to be tested, pull the operating rod down with force, and the jaws will automatically lock and grip the object. Conversely, a gentle push will release it. This tool is convenient to use and reliable for testing.
