A. Pre-operation inspection of the generator:
1. Oil level; 2. Fuel level; 3. Air filter.
B. Starting procedure for the generator (i.e., engine starting procedure):
1. Unplug the AC outlet;
2. Turn off the AC circuit breaker (i.e., close the load switch);
3. Open the throttle;
4. Close the choke;
5. Turn on the generator engine switch (i.e., start switch);
6. Gently pull the starter handle until resistance is felt, then pull it out suddenly. After the engine starts, gently return the handle;
7. After the generator warms up (runs normally), open the choke;
8. Plug in the AC outlet and then turn on the load switch.
C. Stopping procedure for the generator:
1. Turn off the AC circuit breaker (i.e., load switch);
2. Turn off the engine switch (i.e., start switch);
3. Disconnect any load and unplug the AC outlet;
4. Close the throttle.
