The HA-O99 multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp is a special-purpose clamp for temporary wiring when testing or repairing electrical equipment. For years, when testing or repairing electrical equipment that cannot be directly accessed, operators had to climb up to make connections, which was labor-intensive and unsafe. To solve this technical challenge, the technical staff of Huaao Electric, with the strong support and help of on-site workers in the power system, after years of research, exploration, and repeated on-site practice, finally successfully developed this special clamp suitable for field use—the HA-O99 multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp.
The advent of the HA-O99 multifunctional high-altitude wire clamp has shifted traditional high-altitude work to the ground, fundamentally eliminating the dangers of climbing, and greatly improving the working conditions of on-site operators. It can be used for test wiring such as loop resistance, DC resistance, dielectric, insulation withstand voltage, etc., for equipment with a height below 8 meters, eliminating the need for climbing.
Main features:
(1) Simple operation: Use the special operating rod to hang and clamp the jaws of the wire clamp onto the connection position. By pushing and pulling the special operating rod, the jaws can be freely opened and closed to complete the wiring work. The jaw opening is large (70mm), and a guiding mechanism for hanging and clamping is provided, making operation extremely convenient.
(2) Strong clamping force: The upper and lower jaws utilize the principle of movable pulleys to save effort, thus a small pulling force can achieve a large clamping force.
(3) The wire clamp is internally equipped with a special device for locking and releasing the clamping force. When pulling the special operating rod, the elastic energy storage device inside the clamp can automatically lock the jaws at any desired clamping force. When pushing the special operating rod, the release device inside the clamp can open the clamped jaws. Unless the special operating rod is manually pushed, the self-locking device inside the clamp will never allow the clamped jaws to open on their own, ensuring safety and reliability.
(4) Good contact: The wire clamp has the function of overcoming oxidation while clamping, ensuring good contact between the jaws and the connection position.
(5) Strong overload capacity: The short-time current is greater than 100A.
(6) Strong practicality: The jaw angle of the wire clamp can be adjusted, enabling wiring work for testing or repair grounding at different angles, thicknesses, diameters, and heights below 8 meters. Lightweight and easy to use. The structure is reasonably designed, with excellent quality and durability; the clamp head weighs less than 700 grams.
